Submissions

Sorry for the radio silence, guys.

We’re just letting you know that submissions are now officially open for the very first issue of Postmodern Prophecies!

For this month’s writing contest and the theme of the issue is New Beginnings. So write about a new beginning in any manner, a start at a new school, the beginning of an adventure, anything that comes to you. We’re looking for a wide variety of styles and ideas.

To submit, simply add the submission in an attached word document and send it to postmodernprophecies@gmail.com. The subject of the email should be “Sumission” with the date of the submission month following (Submission January, for example). In the body of the email, include:

-Your name (or pen name)

-Title of piece

-personal url (blog, tumblr, etc)

There will be a runner-up, second, and first place highlight for both prose and poetry. Other submissions may be featured in the general submissions, or held onto for later reader-voted contests.

We are also accepting general submissions, poetry or prose, and a certain number of selections of each will be picked and featured in the appropriate sections.

For prose entries, try not to exceed 10 pages.

We are also accepting advertisements; full-page or small banner-style ads, not for money, but for mutual advertisement. If you help us get our publication out there, we would love to return the favor by advertising your works by either an ad for a book or project you’re working on. If you pass the word along for the blog, and tag #postmodernprophecies we will feature your blog’s address in the community ad space of the publication.

Thank you very much for reading this, and we look forward to reading any and all submissions that you have.
